Good point Roch. ID supporters are continually doing that though. From Pat Robertson asserting that a defeat to the ID agenda is "kicking God out," to the many statements by school board members that came to light during the Dover trial, Intelligent Design is often linked to religion by its supporters, forcing many of them to backtrack and try to deny it when constitutional issues arise. They're shooting themselves in the foot.
