Let us all pray it continues to work and we keep the freedoms our Constitution offers us. I have voted for the losing presidential candidate before and later history justified my choice. Goldwater against Johnson in 1964. Johnson and his chosen on McNamara micromanaged the Vietnam War and got 40,000 soldiers killed under their reign. Goldwater wanted to let the military go in and win the war by bombing Haiphong Harbor in North Vietnam. George McGovern in 1972 against Tricky Dick Nixon. Need I say any more about Nixon? And now in 2008 I voted for and prayed for Senator John McCain against Senator Barrack Obama. I sincerely hope that I am not right in my judgment of Obama's character.
