“If I really wanted to torpedo McCain, I would endorse him,” Limbaugh said on his radio show. “Because that would send the independents and liberals who are going to vote for him running away faster than anything.”

“What people don’t realize is that I am doing McCain the biggest favor that can be done for him by staying out of this,” he continued. “If I endorsed him thoroughly and with passion, that would end the independents and moderates, because they so despise me and they so hate me.”

But now we know that he likes McCain! But wait – he knows that we think we know that he likes McCain! Truly, Limbaugh has a dizzying intellect…

Don’t worry if you missed it – Andy’s taken the time to post video of most of the films. My personal favorites were the Deadly Finger entries, the Banana Bus, and the Katrina film. There are other great ones in there as well, so pop some popcorn and take a look.

It was a great show, and fun to see what goes into making an episode. They had the Hornets’ Chris Paul as a guest. Not being a big basketball fan, I had not heard of him before, but was really impressed with him. He seemed like a really nice guy who was very down to earth.

While there, I saw someone who looked an awful lot like Sarah Beth Jones walking up the steps to the balcony. Apparently, it was her. Patrick Eakes was there as well, and though I didn’t see him, I’m sure I must have heard him clapping.

Today, my family and I went over to the Greek Festival on Friendly Avenue (again, with some folks from work). The food was very tasty, and the pastry line very long, but well worth it. On the way out, I ran into Lenslinger. Actually, I walked right past him while focusing on an engaging and contentious conversation with my three-year old daughter. Luckily my wife saw him trying to get my attention and let me know so I could say hi.

The sun and warmth are on their way out. If you’re still reading this, you should get outside, too.

Speaking of photos, the photoset for my recent southwest vacation is coming along slowly but surely. I’ve stalled out on it for the moment, but I’ll be finishing it up as soon as I get time to sort through and process more of the photos.

It was very well done – stylized, engaging, and a lot of fun. It turns out that quite a few parts were pulled from historical accounts of the battle. My friend Ged has written up his take on it over at his blog, along with some interesting links about the making of the movie and background on the actual battle.
