Spam Karma… Engage!
By Anthony | May 19th, 2006 | 12:56 pmThe onslaught of spam was getting to be too much, so I’ve installed Spam Karma 2. If you comment on a post and your comment doesn’t show up in the thread, please send me an email using the “Email me” link on the right side of the page.

I’ve been using Spam Karma 2 for a few weeks now and I really like it. Roch said he had a few problems, but i haven’t been able to nail anything down.

I like it a lot too… I was clearing out spam comments every few hours, since tons of them kept slipping through WordPress moderation. Now I only have to moderate maybe three or four comments per day, and I don’t think any spams have actually made it onto the blog since I installed it. Very cool.
Haven’t noticed any problems yet, but my template is pretty basic and I haven’t changed any of the default SK settings, so I’m hopeful.

As you may know, I’ve attempted to use several exotic WP Themes. After a couple of weeks they all bombed, even the one I’m using now. When I put Spam Karma 2 on, the problem went away.

Someone else below asked this already about antispam scripts.
I am getting nailed with Spam on my website mails and in our blog website – now its offline too
much spam. Is there anyway to stop this? If not, there really isn’t any point in leaving it up
and active. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for help, Keep up the good work. Greetings from Poland
